Pricing
As a general rule of thumb sculptures may cost from $75 to $ 125 a foot
Flamingos
12 to 14 inches $75 to $85
18 to 24 inches $90 to $110
28 to 36 inches $125 to $135
4 feet or so $150 to $165
5 feet or so $170 to $225
6 feet or so $275 to$300
Flamingos maybe ordered up to just about any height 10 to 15 feet. I
paint Flamingos in a hot pink, pale pink, or a florescence (day glo )
pink.
Parrots
3 feet or so $100 to $135
5 feet to 6 feet $175 to $225
Parrots are normally painted in two styles yellow headed Amazon, green
body, red wings and many bright colors on wings and tail or Red Macaw
yellow head, red body and green wings with many bright colors on wings
and tail. Of course I may paint one the way you would like it just send
me an example of what you would like. Sometime I paint up a stick to
look like a cigar and fit it into the Parrots beak !
Pelicans
9 to 10 inches $45 to $65
2 feet or so $75 to $90
3 to 4 feet $125 to $150
Pelicans maybe done in cedar or painted, cedar runs a little more,
also the type of finish may change the price. Some are about 2 feet but
are done from a bigger log (fat ) so this also makes the price vary.

Santas, Mermaids, Wizards, Old Salty’s, Gnomes and Human Figures
In General these are more than like flamingos. Sculptures around 2.5 to
3.5 feet are from $ 250 to $ 330 depending on if its cedar or painted. Of course as the height goes up so does the price. Contact me and we
will go from there.
Cedar Indians
Maybe rough cut for one price, grinded for another, and hand sanded and
finished for another. 6 foot Indians sanded and finished are about $600
/ rough cut $330
Fish
Vary in price from $125 for a 18 inch wall mount Mahi Mahi (dolphin fish
) to $1500 for a sculpture of say a 9 to 10 foot Blue Marlin. I do
sculptures of fish that I call for example a 1/4 marlin, the fish is
coming out of the base from just below the flipper ($250), 1/2 marlin
to a 3/4 marlin. A 4 foot 3/4 Blue Marlin would be about $450 to $500 a
5 to 7 foot full Marlin would be from $550 to $850. I do Blue Marlins,
White Marlins, Sailfish, Sharks, Mahi Mahi, Bottle Nose Dolphins and
just about any fish. Contact me and we will go from there.
Palm Trees
I do Palm trees in two methods a 6 piece tree from 6 to 10 feet is about
$350 trunk and 5 palm froms (leaves), going up in height does not
really change the price a lot but the number of palm froms does, I have
done 7 leaf and 10 leaf trees. A 10 foot 10 leaf tree is $650. I also do
one piece Palm Trees from about 2 to 3 feet $150 to $225 and 4 to 5 feet
for $275 to $375
Birds, Herons, Egrets, and "You Name It Birds "
These are generally price like flamingos but run a little more. Some
are done with a fish in its beak and are painted as a blue heron can be
around $350. Contact me and we will go from there.
The painted Sculptures are painted with exterior house paint and I apply
3 coats of sealer to each sculpture. Cedar sculptures maybe rough cut
(least expensive ) to hand sanded with 3 coats of sealer or maybe
finished in a solution of turpentine and Linseed oil, or a finish of
your choosing. All sculptures are Exterior / Interior, Indoor /
Outdoor as I say ! Each sculpture comes with a Certificate Of
Authenticity, which has suggestions on care of your sculpture and
is dated and signed by the artist each sculpture is signed and dated by
the artist.
Custom Sculptures, Request and Commissions
As a general rule of thumb sculpture are $75 to $125 a foot, depending
on what they are. As I tell folks I will attempt anything. I have
done dogs, horses, totems, fish and Human figures such as Popeye, Olive Oil, Trolls and the Little Prince are among the
few. I have sculpted figures
in damaged trees or folks will have a tree they would like to have
removed and leave a portion for me to do a sculpture in. For a custom
sculpture send me a picture and a description or even a small figure,
it can even be a rubber toy of the sculpture you would like.
